Local News Jul 3, 2023 The Maui News The Salvation Army is holding Back-to-School Supply Drives for keiki in need across Hawaii during July and early August, including across Maui in Kahului, Lahaina, and Wailuku. The public is encouraged to support families on Hawaii island, Kauai, Maui and Oahu by donating school items, such as backpacks (most needed), colored markers, colored pencils, composition notebooks, crayons, erasers, facial tissue, glue, glue sticks, highlighters, school boxes, paper towels, pencils, pencil pouches, pens (black, blue and red), portfolios, rulers, scissors, small calculators, and wide-rule binder paper.
